Feedback sought by 9 August - Water Demand & Usage

As part of the State Government’s ongoing monitoring of drought impacts in SA, Primary Industries and Regions SA (PIRSA) is seeking data relating to current water demand and usage – specifically related to livestock and farming businesses – in the drought affected council regions.

PIRSA are interested in hearing from those who are seeing/experiencing any of the following:

  • Increase in water carting for livestock purposes
  • Increase in water demand/pumping from town water supplies for farming/irrigation
  • Any producers considering requesting fee or charge relief associated with water carting/pumping

Any feedback gathered will be provided to PIRSA and also discussed with SA Water, and information will also be used as part of the ongoing government reporting around drought.

The response date is Thursday 9 August 2019.
