Pet Cats in the Community

Council has been made aware of the increase of pet cats  going missing within township areas. We encourage  responsible ownership of all pets and would like to remind our residents that any friendly/pet cats caught in hired or personal cat cages need to be returned to their owners. To assist the identification of pet cats, we ask that all owners ensure their cat is fitted with a collar.

We however understand that some owners do not have their cats registered on Dogs and Cats online (DACO). Unregistered cats make it very difficult to find the owners. As of July
1st, 2018, ALL cats MUST be microchipped and registered.

Registration for cats within our council are at NO COST.    Registrations can be  completed online by visiting https://www.dogsandcatsonline.com.au/ or over the counter at the Council Office,  11 Burton Terrace Wudinna.
