Appointment of new Chief Executive Officer

Wudinna District Council is delighted to announce the appointment of Kristy Davis as Chief Executive Officer. Kristy will commence duties on Monday 1 August 2022 and replaces former Chief Executive Officer, Alan McGuire after a 48-year career with Council, 35 years as the CEO.

Kristy is an outstanding candidate, bringing experience in asset management, regional marketing, property management and an extensive academic achievement record.

Council has ambitious plans and challenges ahead. We look forward to Kristy leading our administration team and a strong relationship with Elected Members as we head towards the November 2022 Local Government election.

Kristy commences at a time of transition in local government. The roll out of significant change to the Local Government Act, upcoming election period and the strategic plan reviews that follow the election are matters that will have Kristy’s early attention.

We welcome Kristy, husband Mark and daughter Anastasia to the community.
