Situated behind the Council Office chambers is the Community Archives Storage Room. This building was erected in 1992 in a joint effort between the Council and the Wudinna & Districts Historical Society. Community groups can store their records in the room at no charge. Members of the public are permitted to view and borrow records stored in the Community Archives. Please visit the Council Office to obtain a key. |

Historical information on the district has been compiled in several publications. The following two publications are available to purchase from the Council Office:

The proceeds of 'A Salute to Pioneers' and 'Poppies in the Wheat' goes to the Kyancutta Progress Association. Historical information can also be obtained from Council staff, the Community Archives, the Wudinna School/Community Library or the local Historical Society.
