Wudinna Apex Park
Apex Park is centrally located in the township of Wudinna, next to the local swimming pool. It comprises of lush green grass, a large playground, the popular jumping pillow, sheltered tables and chairs, public toilets and a barbeque. There is also Gym Exercise equipment free for use beside the children's playground, with the outdoor gym allowing children supervision while you exercise. From a rower to exercise bike this gym has become a popular site for exercise and socialising. Apex Park is open to anyone, and provides a pleasant and relaxed area for both adults and children.

Swimming PoolWudinna Swimming Pool
This public swimming pool comprises of three various sized pools including a baby pool and a large 25 metre pool which is around 3 metres in depth at one end.
There are large and small diving boards on the large 25 metre pool.
The pool opens between the months November - March. It may not be opened at some times depending on the temperature of the water - for more information you can check out the Wudinna & District Swimming Pool's Facebook page.
The facilities at the pool include showers, toilets, untreated tank water, canteen, grassed and sheltered areas.

The 2019/20 Membership costs are $230 per family (including school aged children), $120 per single member, and a $5 Daily entry fee, for both adults and children.
Annual Membership and Conditions of Entry form can be obtained from the Wudinna Swimming Pool Committee.

Wudinna Gymnasium

Wudinna has a large gymnasium that is located alongside of the community oval. Its facilities consist of a large court that has been lined for various sports such as volleyball, tennis, netball, basketball etc, and also has three squash courts. Non-members can have access to the gym for a fee of $22 for the court or $11 for the use the squash courts (rates are applied per hour). Limited equipment is supplied such as netball rings, basketball backboards, volleyball and badminton nets etc, however, rackets and balls are not provided. Drinking fountains are available.

The key can be collected from the Wudinna Area School. Opening times are generally 8.30am to 5pm. If you plan to use this facility over a weekend, contact will need to be made with the school to discuss the arrangements. The school contact number is 86 802 263.

Wudinna Basketball Courts
Two outside basketball courts are available for use by visitors. One is available all year round. The other court is available only during basketball season which is October - February. No fees apply for the use of these courts. The courts are in use on Thursday nights during the basketball season. They are both located next to the Wudinna Gymnasium. Your own equipment is required.

Wudinna Tennis Courts
There are six outside tennis courts available in Wudinna, however, the nets are only put up during tennis season, which is September - March. The bottom court may not always have the nets set up depending on whether it is basketball night, which is on Thursdays. Tennis groups generally use the courts each Wednesday and Saturday nights between the above months. There is no fee for using these the courts, however your own equipment is required.

Wudinna Bowls Club
The bowling greens are operational between the months September to April each year. The greens are rolled each Wednesday and Thursday. The local bowlers practise on Thursday nights and anyone is welcome to join in. Friday night during summer night owls is held. Most Saturdays the Bowling Club will be occupied by the local bowling teams, however spectators are most welcome. On practice nights and Saturdays the Bowling Club will be opened, and toilets are available. There is no fee for using the greens but the Club expects people to wear flat sole shoes to protect the greens. If visitors come while the Club is open, bowls can be supplied.

Wudinna Oval
The oval is available to use all year round, however on most Saturdays football or cricket will be played. No fee is charged for using this facility and your own equipment is required. A modern and licensed Community Club is situated next to the oval, which when open provides toilets, Friday and Saturday night teas, snacks and bar facilities.

Wudinna Netball Courts
The netball courts are available all year, although the netball rings will only be up during the months March to October. The courts are occupied on Thursdays nights and most Saturdays by the local sporting teams for trainings and matches. Anyone is welcomed to use this facility at no cost, however your own equipment is required.

Wudinna Lion's Information Bay
The Lion's Information Bay is located at the western end of Wudinna next to the highway. It has a grassed area, sheltered tables and chairs, public toilets and barbeque facilities. The information bay has large signs with educational material about the district and its wondrous characteristics, which is fantastic for the traveller wanting an insight to the community.

Kyancutta Ramblers Golf Club
This golf course is located at Kyancutta, just 13km south of Wudinna. Both members and non-members can access the golf course all year round. The golf season is held during the months April to September. During these months the Golf Club will be open every Sunday, providing drinks and toilets facilities. Visitors are always welcome. A $5.00 charge for non-members applies to be paid into the honesty box at the golf course. No equipment is supplied.

Minnipa Recreation Facilities

Minnipa Tennis Courts

Minnipa Pioneer Park
Located at the eastern end of Minnipa, not far from the Eyre Highway, awaits the Minnipa Pioneer Park, a tribute to the pioneer women of the district. It comprises of lush green grass, blooms of flowers and includes a table and chairs. Great location for a travel break or a picnic.
